What Time Zone Is [State]? All 50 US States Answered

Is California PST or PDT? Is Texas CST? Is Ohio EST or EDT? Is Denver MST or MDT? Here's the complete guide to every US state's time zone, current abbreviation, and DST status.

What Time Zone Is My State?

The US has 4 main mainland time zones — Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific — plus Alaska and Hawaii. Each zone uses two abbreviations: a standard time (winter) and a daylight time (summer).
